It was that summer that so much happened in a blur. It was that summer that it all went to hell.
Trouble had always seemed to find them, wherever they went or whatever they did. But they had managed relatively well, all things considered.
That summer, however, it all came tumbling down. They lost a great deal of money in a bet gone wrong. In attempt to get it back, people got hurt. When they tried to avenge those people, someone died. And that was only the beginning.
Now, we face the culmination of those events. Now, we face the end of the world as we know it.
