She felt her hair stand on end all over her arms, as if every little strand of hair wanted to raise itself to be better able to listen to the wonderful melody wrapping itself around her.

Indeed, the capital city orchestra was at its best this evening, weaving tapestries of stories with the right notes places at the exact right time.

This is why she kept coming back to the opera house, even though it was a risk. People were looking for her, dangerous people; and yet she couldn't resist the beckoning call of the symphony.

As she looked down from the rafters, hidden among the shadows, she sighed in contentment.
