164. Bliss

She had always chased after the feeling of bliss like it was some sort of physical object, not just a set of chemicals released in the brain. It was only after discovering that so many little things could trigger the chemicals, that she gave up the chasing.

Because why would one need the thrill of the hunt for the unobtainable, when something as simple as the feel of sunshine on skin could evoke the warmest of emotions? Who needed to search, when all that was needed to feel whole for a moment, was the wonderful sound of laughter?

And so she created her bliss herself, one moment at a time.
