He was unable to keep a smile off of his face, as he regarded the others in silence.
It had been a while since they all got together to play boardgames, and as the animated pieces hopped across the boards all by themselves, the people playing became a little... animated themselves. "You're cheating!" "No, I'm not, you are!" were cries that weren't a rare thing to hear this evening.
When in the end the pieces started flying around in the air, shrieking in mortal fear, he started outright laughing.
How he missed this bunch of hot-headed fools.
