She had always been a popular hero to have beside one in a fight, and it all came down to one thing: because of the mutated genes that some people were blessed (or cursed) with, her healing powers knew no peers.
She could stop wounds from bleeding, and eventually heal them. She could keep the wounded warm, and their hearts beating strong.
It hadn't stopped her from studying plain old medicine, though, as she figured some dire circumstances might need a more old-school approach to the matter.
Eventually, she even managed to revive someone. That, ironically, was what led to her being fired from the organization she was working for.
