The two noble houses had a centuries old custom of gathering behind closed doors. Since the rivalry between them had been going on for even longer, everybody else, whether of high or low birth, just assumed the worst about just what went on in there.

But as the members of both houses cleared away all tables and chairs in the great hall for the millionth dance battle, they weren't in the least concerned with what others thought of them. "I will surely win this time!" screamed one particularly feisty lady.

"Oh, you're on!", replied an elderly lord.
