As long as the ancient silver dragon resided beneath the world of humans, frost covered the lands.
Although that was certainly a rough price to pay, the blessings the dragon brought with them were plenty.
And so the people prospered, until that fateful day, when the lands started to thaw, and they experienced warmth again, now an unfamiliar feeling.
A few chosen ones travelled underground, fearing the worst.
While the dragon was still alive, they were barely holding on.
A great evil had threatened the humans for so long, and they could no longer hold it off.
