𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

april 2nd ~ daniel

so i wasn't gonna update today. i was going to wait till Sunday when i had all the imagines done but Zach's was done and hey, it's Danny's 20th birthday (wtf) and i felt like i had to celebrate somehow. <3

It was 11:32 am when woke up, alone. Daniel's side of the bed was empty. You closed your eyes again, drawing in a deep breath before reaching over to the bedside table and unplugging your phone. 

You smiled when you saw the text notifications from Daniel;

daniel s. 

"morning baby, hope you slept well!"

 "The boys and i had to go to an emergency meeting, idk when it'll be done but i'll text you" 

"I love you <3" 

The messages were from 47 minutes ago. You quickly typed a response.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY  SEAVEY!!<3"

 "it's your birthday love, im supposed to send you cute morning texts, not the other way around." 

You pressed send and set down your phone, not expecting an immediate response. You got out of bed to get dressed. Once your were in the closet, your heard a ding come from your phone. Quickly, you grabbed a pair of ripped jeans, a white tube top and a grey cardigan before returning to the bedroom. You placed your clothes on the unmade bed and opened your phone.

daniel s.

 "THANK YOU!" 

Daniel's message read, along with;

 "and nah, i'll always leave you good morning texts ;)"

you smiled at your phone screen.

"Pffft, you're a dork" 

you told him.

daniel s.

 "Yeah, but I'm your dork" 

Even though he wasn't in the room, you could see the smile Daniel had resting on his lips.

 "Sure are babe"

"How was the meeting?" 

He responded faster this time.

daniel s.

 "Ugh, long and boring." 

"Just a bunch of band stuff" 

y/n :)

"Do you know when you'll be home?"

 You watched the dots dance in the bubble above the keyboard for a moment before his message popped up. 

daniel s.

"Soon, probably an hour"

 You nodded as you read.

 "Ok, what time is dinner with the boys?" 

daniel s.

 "6pm" 

 "I gotta go baby, ttyl" 

"love you<3" 

You sighed gently at the series of messages.
