"Insanity Blue"

Such a wild everyday in the manor. Many things blossomed: Love, passion, friends... things that some didn't even feel the need to seek, yet it somehow just appeared in their visage. That was Mike's current predicament: You.
Mike wasn't feeling up to your newfound love for him. It felt like putting on a show. Sure, he always looked bubbly, especially around you, but did he really like being with you? Hell no. But, what brought you together? The thirst of knowing about every single thing about you that he could use to his advantage?

You were a mask maker, just an ordinary female who sold masks; masks of cats, humans, mythological characters, and the like. During this game of hunt, a mask is enough to confuse the hunter. That was your job; confusing the hunter on which he was chasing. Unlike your occupation, you were heavily naive, optimistic, and smiley, giving you such a popular face in the manor. You were also the acrobat's significant other. Isn't that just swell? You looked like the perfect couple, but in truth? Mike would like to think, "No. We weren't perfect at all. If I'm being completely honest, I wish I didn't meet you." Why? Well, he was pulled to such mysteries that he could not solve. You had said everything he wanted to hear... So what now? He could just toss you to the side and allow another mystery to take him away, or wallow in boredom with how open you were, that there wasn't much to crack anymore.

"Good luck, Mike," You cheered, giving him a thumbs-up before the matchroom. He looked back and gave you a smile before walking away to play the game.
In his mind, he wondered on how you never see his reluctance to be with you, even despite having himself busy with replenshing the brightly-colored balla that he'd be using for his matches. As for you, you've always taken care of him, and he wondered why. Why were you helping him fix his life when he wanted to so nothing with you? Why were you there when he didn't even need you? Why were you here...?

He continued on his bubbly facade, just as you continued assisting him, whether it'd be accompanying him to his slightly messy room, or something else, you had been completely patient and bubbly... he hated it.

He felt like he wanted to throw every brightly colored ball to your face, have it explode, leaving you crying. He felt distressed as he teared away your pictures, wanting nothing to do with you. What even brought you together in the first place?

"You like me don't you?" Mike looked at the blushing girl who nodded, looking away from his face. "Don't worry, dear little rabbit." You looked up just as he nears your face. "The feeling is mutual. I love you too," Ah, he lied as he breathed.

Where was this all going to? His thirst for adventure had lead him to a dead end. He felt so immersed in hating you, that he could hear your voice in his ear, a giggle. Looking behind, there was no one. Not a person at all. Mike sat on his bed, his head on his hands. "Just what are you doing to me?" He absolutely hated this, playing you to find nothing that could possibly help him. He hated how he was being wrapped around your little finger.

You came back from a match, cheery as you were met with Joseph's currently friendly self. He had left you a few things such as flowers along with Emma, Vera, and Aesop, who had politely declined (though he took it anyway. He was forced). Just as you entered, you neared the acrobat, smiling. "Mike," You called as you hugged him, pushing him to the bed. With a kiss, you captured him in a slight trance. Then and there, Mike forgot all his hate for you, as if a kiss had reminded him of your worth as a human.

That was until the very end, where everyone had got what they wanted. Just as Mike was about to leave, you gave him a kiss, a sweet kiss that Mike knew he was immersed into having. However, you weren't exactly immersed than he thought.
"Ah, having to put up a mask the whole time I was stuck in that damn mansion with you," Mike's eyes widened as he struggled to process what was happening. And here he thought he had the upper hand. "You make life so much brighter, trying to play the manipulator. You might have a mask, but I am much better at keeping it," You chuckled.
As you left, you turned around, watching his cold heart break. "Good bye. Let's not see each other again," Y/n chuckled.

"So... you're an actually heartless person... huh?"
