Emma was at college in NYC. She really loved the city and it was nice to have people she knew there, middle aged people but it was nice.
Alyssa had made the distinction to stay in Indiana and go to a local college there, the problem was the girls had never done long distance but having a year and a half of hiding and stealing moments with each other when they could, kind of prepared them for it.
But it was still hard.
"hey babe!" Alyssa's face appeared on Emma's phone. Emma smiled her heart swelled she missed her so much.
"Hey!"
"where's your roommate?"
"she's out. She's been out this whole year i barely see her"
"what do you think she's even doing?"
"I konw for a fact she's sleeping her way though every guy here"
Alyssa's brow furrowed "gross"
"yep"
Emma turned over on her side Alyssa turned over to the same position. "see? it's like where in the same room"
"I miss you so much" Emma said
"I miss you too"
"only a few more months, then I'll be home"
"when you come home someone is going to have to hold me back, because i'm going to tackle you and cover you with kisses"
Emma blushed witch Alyssa found very cute.
"i can't wait for that"
"me too" Alyssa shifted a yawn. "you should get some sleep"
"I don't want to say goodnight"
Emma sighed "I konw"
"Emma do you think you could-
Emma grabbed her guitar "already on it" she smiled
"any requests?"
Alyssa shrugged "anything is fine with me"
Emma picked up guitar and played a few cords thinking. Then softy she started to sing
Alyssa got comfortable her eyes not leaving her girlfriend, she loved her so much it hurts.
Emma started to sing
