two years. technically seven years spent working on this Broadway musical just to get it to Broadway, seven years of workshops, casting, singing, dancing and just being goofballs with the cast to get only two years on Broadway, no one saw it coming they had been nominated for a lot of tonys-
and as you konw they didn't get a single one.
As i said before no one saw it coming, not even the Broadway stars themselves.
it was around midnight when Emma got the call.
Emma rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and went to answer the phone careful not to wake Alyssa.
"Dee Dee?" Emma answered "I can't understand you.. are you crying?"
"there closing us" Dee Dee answered in a grave voice
Emma laughed "really, really good joke there, how long did it take you to come up with that one?"
"Emma, it's Trent. Dee Dee's not joking the Prom is getting the axe"
Emma stopped "what? You guys worked for years on this show.. you made history at the Macy's parade. You guys went to the tony's. The Tonys."
Alyssa was standing in the doorway. "Babe are you ok?"
"I don't konw..."
"who called you at midnight?"
"Dee Dee"
"is she drunk?" Alyssa asked assumed "no. Not this time. The prom is closing, this summer"
Alyssa looked at the blond in disbelief. "what?"
Emma suddenly had an idea "how do you guys feel about coming to Indiana?"
