late night phone calls

Emma and Alyssa were in 11th grade they had been dating for about two months they both loved every minute that they could be together. 

They had been talking on the phone for about two hours now. 

"so how's school?" Alyssa asked 

"it's fine I guess" Emma said 

"Emma- 

"ok I hate it" 

"I thought so" 

Alyssa yawned, Emma laughed "tired?" 

"a little bit. What time is it anyway?" Emma checked her phone "it's midnight. We should probably get some sleep, we can't have our star cheerleader falling asleep on the field now can we?" 

Alyssa smiled "i guess not" 

"ok have a good night babe- 

"wait! Emma?" 

"yes?" 

 "could you sing me to sleep?" Alyssa shyly asked 

"sure ok" Emma grabbed her guitar she took a breath "sorry it's been a while since I've sang for anyone" 

"if you don't want too- 

"no, no I do. I want too. Get comfortable ok?" 

Alyssa got in bed and lied down on her back. "ok I'm ready" 

Emma smiled "ok I think you konw this one" then she started to sing. Alyssa's heart squeezed she loved when Emma sang to her, she closed her eyes letting the melody take her away. 

"don't need you to sell me on reasons to want you

I don't need you to search for the proof that I should

'Cause what we've got going is good" Emma blushed then she smiled 

" don't need more reminders of all that's been broken

 Emma sang the words and believed them in her heart, that it was just her and Alyssa against the world and all they needed was each other to get by.

Emma blushed hard. "thank you. Get some sleep ok?"

Emma laughed "I feel like where in the fault in our stars" 

Alyssa smiled "ok" 

Emma put her phone by her pillow so it would be like Alyssa was there with her. She smiled "ok" 

I love these two! also I LOVE the fault in our stars , it's one of my fav books of all time. So i wanted to add that in.
