¨there we go¨ Emma gently placed Isabel in the bassinet looking down at her sleeping baby she still couldn't believe Isabel was three weeks old time was flying by so fast, it seamed just like yesterday that she gave birth.

¨OK Emma your doing really well. She almost out¨ the doctor said Emma was breathing hard she was exhausted and in so much pain. ¨on three.. one.. two..three¨
Emma gritted her teeth trying not to scream as she pushed. ¨your doing so great babe" Alyssa said holding her hand
¨just one more big push¨ Emma screamed using all her remaining energy. ¨you got this¨ Alyssa said everything went quiet then a loud wail priced the room.
Emma fell on the bed exhausted breathing hard. ¨great job¨ Alyssa said kissing her on her forehead.
after she was cleaned up a nurse handed Emma the baby. ¨shes perfectly healthy three pounds five ounces¨
¨hi baby¨ Emma whispered ¨shes perfect¨ Alyssa said smiling sitting on the bed next to Emma.
¨I should probably let everyone konw you had the baby¨ Alyssa said getting up ¨all be right back¨
Alyssa headed out to the waiting room where there friends and family were waiting. ¨Emma had the baby. Her name is Isabel June Nolan Greene five pounds three ounces. Emma and the baby are both doing great¨
a few minutes later Mrs. Greene came in to see the new baby. ¨hi mom¨ Alyssa smiled Mrs Greene hugged her. ¨Iḿ so happy for both of you¨
¨how are you feeling Emma?¨ Mrs. Greene asked ¨exhausted and a little sore besides that iḿ fine¨
Emma handed the baby to Mrs. Greene ¨Isabel this is your grandma¨
¨shes beautiful¨ Mrs. Greene said looking at her new granddaughter. ¨its been so long since I held a baby this small reminds me of when Alyssa was a baby¨
¨mom..¨ Alyssa trailed off embarrassed ¨what? you konw I love you no matter how old you get your always going to be my baby girl¨
¨I love you too.. just please stop¨ Mrs. Greene smiled ¨all let you two have some alone time¨ she handed the baby to Emma hugging them both before heading out the door.
¨you should probably get some rest ¨ Alyssa said ¨you've been through a lot¨ ¨are you sure?¨ Emma asked ¨Alyssa- ¨I can handle it¨ ¨OK¨ Emma handed Alyssa Isabel then closed he eyes.
an hour passed Emma woke up. ¨how is she?¨ ¨shes was a little fussy earlier but shes fine now¨
Isabel started crying ¨hey its ok baby¨ Alyssa said softly trying to sooth her ¨I can take her¨ Emma said taking the baby in her arms. ¨its ok sweet girl whats wrong?¨ Emma rocked her in her arms.
Isabel was still crying after about ten minutes. ¨you could try skin to skin contact¨ Alyssa suggested Emma laid Isabel on her chest on a part of her skin that wasn't covered by her hospital gown Isabel settled down and stopped crying.
¨that's my girl¨ Emma whispered looking down at the baby, Alyssa turned over to her side facing Emma carefully wrapping her arms around her. They fell asleep for about fifteen minutes until they hread a soft knocking on the door.
"can we come in?' Barry asked opening the door "of course" Alyssa said happy to see him. Dee Dee, Sheldon, Trent and Angie came in. "Hey guys" Emma smiled "how are you feeling?"
Sheldon asked "exhausted, she makes it all wroth it" Emma said looking at the baby in her arms. Isabel opened her eyes "Isabel this is mama's friends their your family too"
"you guys can hold her if you want" Alyssa said "we would love too" Dee Dee said
Emma gently passed the baby to Barry. "i'm so happy for you girls"
Barry passed Isabel to Dee Dee. "she's beautiful. She looks just like you two"
Dee Dee passed her to Sheldon "she's so small and cute"
Sheldon passed her to Trent. "the miracle of life is a very beautiful thing"
Trent handed her to Angie. "she's not even a day old yet and already sealing my spotlight" Angie joked smiling Emma and Alyssa laughed.
"you were amazing sorry we couldn't stay" Alyssa said "no sweetie it's fine this was way more important anyway" Angie said handing the baby back to Alyssa.
"Well we don't want to keep you too long" Trent said "it was really good to see you both" Sheldon said
"we love you" Angie said "we love you too" Alyssa said everybody headed out the door one at a time. "Barry and Dee Dee?" Emma called they both turned around. "yes?" Barry said
"Alyssa and I were wondering.. what i'm trying to say..
"we were wondering if you wanted to be Isabel's godparents" Alyssa said
"really?" Barry asked "of course" Emma said "you both mean a lot to us"
"we wold love too" Dee Dee said with tears in her eyes. "you konw we really are proud of you girls you've both come so far since we meet."
"so have you, both of you" Alyssa said "without you we wouldn't have had a prom"
"honey anyone can make a prom happen" Barry said "you were the ones that changed everyone's minds and really made a difference"
