Rikus pov
I paced back and forth nervously. Me and rita sent out letters to our crushes zuko and momo asking them to meet me on the roof. We've been working hard trying to get close to them and now feels like the perfect time to tell them how we feel. I was paranoid that zuko wouldn't come or even worse he'd hate me for having feelings for him! Maybe if all else fails I'll do a Swan dive off the roof.
"hey bro" I jumped at my sisters voice. "chill out would ya! This plan is totally gonna work" I wish I had her confidence!
"we're here dipshits!" momo growled.
"hey guys why did you call us out here" zuko asked calmly.
I took a deep breath. Its now or never "well the thing is I have feelings for you zuko. I have for a long time"
"we'd be very grateful if you'd accept" rita butted in.
I closed my eyes waiting for rejection but instead he kissed me on the cheek.
"I must say you confession was out of nowhere kid but I think we can make this work" zuko grinned.
I burst into tears and hugged him. Rita also hugged momo. For the first time since I started this year in school I felt happy.
