Chapter 12 - Awakening of the Vampyr
I woke up at 5 in the afternoon, sundown. I brought my shades and clipped them on the collar of my shirt. I spent the time talking to my dearest as well through Discord. Then I went hunting and fed again. The people I infected turned delirious, it was an epidemic of feverish anemic people across town, most victims used to be good looking they reported in the news and I was in the background on the life of the reporter but I was not in the camera but rather sitting down drinking a can of monster and smoking a cigarette. She reported live on the news as 24Hour News on Channel 7 that there is an unknown contagion going on yet the scientist did not know the cause or where it was from. It remained to them a mystery that people randomly woke up feverish, anemic, lethargic, apathetic, and psychotic. And the worst symptom of all is that they have a horrid hunger for eating raw uncooked foods or even insects. Such as flies and spiders. Good thing I used my saliva on their punctured marks enough not to leave a trace of my bitemarks. No one will know the root cause of where it came from. She also reported that scientists reported that this was not COVID nor a side effect of the vaccines rolled out and vaccinated yesterday morning to the people. The only way to know if the patient is infected is their pale skin white as snow as if it's some sort of makeup from a horror movie. They even looked older and uglier but all of the victims used to be beautiful looking. There is no trace, no cause, nothing. No evidence. And in scientific terms there is nothing different about their blood, it's just the same as healthy blood they tested everything but nothing comes up odd or anything different, their tests said they are all healthy.
There is no science in the supernatural occult, just like there is no evidence God exists. But we do.
I spent the time looking around town, all of the patients were quarantined yet there was no medicine that could help them.
