Cobra Kai has taken over the Valley.

All that anyone knows now is Cobra Kai karate... Terry Silver's karate.

New dojos, new senseis. We may be back in the fight, but Cobra Kai never left it. Cobra Kai is stronger now than they've ever been before.

If this continues, all that we fought for won't even be a memory.

The Cobras are growing larger every day, destroying anything and everything in their path.

Something's cooking over there. We have to make our move now. If we don't, every kid in the Valley is gonna be forced to choose.

We're here to make sure no one has to choose. We're here to make sure that everyone stays safe. We're here to make sure Cobra Kai goes down, once and for all.

Now, all the Miyagi-Fang students are at the dojo. This isn't our first time training since we've started up again. We need to get in as much training as possible, in order to make up for the lost time.

We all stood in front of the sparring deck. On top, stood sensei Toguchi. Sensei and Mr. LaRusso were nowhere to be seen.

"So where are my dad and Johnny?" Sam asked. Chozen shook his head slightly. "Not here," he answered. "Today, you train with me."

"Attention," Chozen yelled. We all straightened our posture. Chozen yelled something in Japanese, which none of us reacted to. "Bow..." Chozen said quieter, as if what he said was obvious.

We all listened, bowing toward him. Chozen began pacing back and forth slowly on the deck. "Cobra Kai gaining ground. We must prepare. Come," he said, moving behind a table on the deck.

We all walked closer, looking at the numerous weapons that sat on the small table. "Now, we learn about Yanbaru Kuina," Chozen said.

"What is that?" Chris started, "Like, some top-secret karate move? Like a throat rip?" Chris imitated choking.

All of us laughed quietly. Chozen just stared seriously. "No," Chozen stated firmly. "It is bird... In English called Okinawa rail. Endangered. Cannot fly."

Demitri spoke up, "Hence, endangered."

Chozen grabbed something wrapped in cloth from under the table. He placed it down, revealing the item. It was a carton of eggs.

"So these are the real eggs?" Miguel asked Chozen, pointing at them.

"No. Trader Joe's. $3.29."

I laughed next to Miguel, looking to the ground. Miguel elbowed me, shaking his head.

"Take egg," Chozen told us all.

I took a step forward and began reaching for an egg, when someone else grabbed it. I looked to the person. It was Eli, holding both eggs in his hand.

"Here." Eli held one egg out to me, a small smile on his face. I looked between him and the egg for a moment, before grabbing the egg from his hand without a word.

Once everyone had an egg, Chozen began speaking again. "Yanbaru Kuina must protect egg. From Kjme Shima habu. Poison snake. You must do same." He picked up a glass timer, partially filled with sand, and flipped it. "Begin your preparation."

"What are we protecting them from?" I asked, holding up my egg slightly.

"From me." Chozen yelled, swinging two sais in his hands. Then, he yelled something else in Japanese. When no one reacted again, Chozen yelled again, "Go! Go!"
