Chapter 13

He came much closer and the fear started to build in her.
The figure was not there any more so Leila decided to take a closer look and indeed it wasn't there.
Not knowing that it was behind her,she went forward.

"You should first check things well before coming to a final agreement."He said from behind.

She turned immediately to him as he stroked his hair and came forward.

"Who are you?"She asked shockingly."And how....."

"Yeah. I brought you here and I saw everything."

"Everything?"She said as her eyes were filled with tears."And you did not mind helping us?"

"That is why I have come here to help you."

"And you think you know where she is?"

He nodded in reply.

"You are mad."She said angrily."How do you think you can help me find my mom?"

Her question only made him laugh."You don't know me."

"Yes I don't so leave."
And with that,she pulled him to the door and shut it in front of him.

"Why oh God why?"She cried."What type of battle is this?"

'No Leila you must fight this. Remember your mother gave you a task to do and you should do it. You must find your sister and find the hidden truth in it.'

"Yes I will."She told herself as she went to her room.

Astha immediately came to Lucy's house to tell her something urgent.

"Hello."She shouted."Lucy you better come downstairs."

"Astha what the heck?"She said as she came downstairs.

"Lucy."She held her hand and went out of the house."

All alone outside,Astha breathed heavily and started.

"I was there."She said.

"There....there for what?"Lucy asked as she didn't understand.

"Last night. I was there. Leila's mom....she's missing."

"She's what!?"

Astha just regretted telling Lucy about things like this but what could she do? She couldn't keep it to herself. No one in her shoes might even act normal upon seeing such a scene like that especially in the night.

She had heard stories about people going missing in the night which she would not even try to believe and she knew Lucy was the expert in hearing those things but someone she had known was now part of it and that shifted her mind to it.

The fear in her began to show up in heavy pants.

"Aunt Susan is missing."Lucy asked."Then the stories are true. People going missing is normal but especially in a situation like this,this is not normal."

"What if it relates to this area here?"Astha continued.

"And Leila must have been really stressed out."

"What do you mean?"Lucy asked a bit worried.

"She was there when it all happened. She tried....but it just didn't work."

The two girls stood there wondering about it.
Now it was finally turning real before them.
When the darkest stories begins to show physically,the mind doesn't rest.

"How about you tell me how it all happened."

And with that,Astha started.
