"If I had a sister who could believe me in any situation,I wouldn't have been so heartless like this."

"It's okay"She stroked her hair." Let it go. It will only haunt you even more darkening your heart."

"No."She pulled herself from her."I will only let it go if I reveal the true self of that witch."

She cleaned her watery eyes and dashed out.

Meanwhile, Ezra listened to the conversation between she and Astha.

Kayla went to take some fresh air and observe nature.

She wiped her face with her hands and wondered if she had regretted telling Astha.

Ezra came behind her and interrupted.
"I'm sorry I didn't....."

"Leave me alone."She said not even turning to him."I'm busy."

"Kayla please forgive me."

"Oh don't worry. I've already forgiven you but forgetting it is not possible."

"Then you haven't forgiven me."He said and stood beside her."you are not like other girls who would be happy when people kiss them."

"Stop the nonsense."

"Please if there's anything I can do please let me know."

"Hm..."She went much farther from him and held the pillar hardly.

She felt dizzy and her stomach ached. She hadn't eaten for days and she knew that.

"Kayla you can do this. "She told herself."Don't let him know."

Ezra turned to her and gave her an uncertain look.

Kayla went forward and knelt down in pain.

He went to her."Are you okay?"

He held her hand and tried to lift her up but she did not allow.

"Stop being a child and let's go."

"No. Is it by force?"

"You haven't eaten for days and thank God you are alive so get up and have some food."

She stood up on her own and went some few steps with him and collapsed.

Ezra held her and took her to the kitchen and placed her on the chair.

He prepared some rice and stew as Kayla sat with her head on the table.

Finally he was done and placed the food on the table.

Kayla woke up with a confused expression on her face.

"You're awake."He said."Food is ready so eat."

"You think I will eat?"She said holding her forehead.

"No I don't."He said."But I will make you."

That was when she remembered what she had said to him in the kitchen sometime ago.

"You're kidding. I will prefer eating fruits for the rest of my life that to eat your food."

She stood up and Ezra stood up also.
"Sit."He said.

"You're something."
She walked beside him and immediately,he snapped her out.

About five minutes later,she woke up again with ropes tied around her hands and legs.

"What have you done to me?"

He did not mind but took her food and started feeding her.

She squeezed her mouth and it really got him angry.

He too worried her by using the spoon to hit her mouth repeatedly.
