Chapter 129

Finally the actual event was here. All the participants dressed up in their best.

Kayla beautifully dressed in magenta dress with sequins all around her waist and part of her her hair was tied up and adorned.

She at the back stage slowly peeked in search of her sister and mother

"They'll be here."Kai assured her of that."Just relax okay."

"Yeah. I will."She sighed and said.

"Hurry up Lei."Susan said as she got into her car."We all know what Kayla will do if we don't come on time."

"I'm coming."Leila said making sure the house looked perfect.
She stared at the background in front of her and smiled.
Finally the family was together again.
With that in mind,she deeply breathed what seemed to look like relief to her and headed out.

Back in school,the whole place was lighted up with chandeliers and a whole lot and beautifully decorated cameras all ready to take actions.
The red carpet laid down on the ground just killed it all. It didn't look like a school anymore,it looked like this movie industry releasing a new movie album.

After adoring the beauty of the school,the people took their seats and patiently waited.

The owner of the school majestically walked up the stage and introduced herself and said some speeches and finally welcomed the event,what everyone was hoping to finally see.

"I'm nervous."Kayla said to Kai."Aren't you?"

"I am but keep it cool okay?"

"Yeah."She whispered and neatly adjusted her hair waiting for the curtains to be lifted up.

The time,the hour and the minute was now here for the group to perform.
The heavy curtains was lifted up and Kayla was the one to be viewed first.

She breathed in and recalled the reassuring words of Kai.

There she held her violin and started playing.

As she played,she felt the soothing sound of the music she played. It was as if she was being transported to another realm.
There she felt peace and recalled all the harmful stuffs that took place and how they were able to escape from it.
It was as of she knew it but she sang the song in her own words,words of experience.

The rest of the participants followed and played their various flutes,harps, violins with Kayla leading the way.

The audience just could not believe their ears.
They marvelled at it and some shed tears of joy including Susan.

Surprisingly,as Kayla continued,she heard a familiar sound of a flute and the style at which the person played it reminded her of someone.

Lo and behold,she turned and saw Leila there beautifully dressed like that of an angel from heaven and her skin glowed luminously.

As they played Ezra stood at the top floor and viewed the whole show especially Kayla and Zenith stood beside him and watched too admiring Leila.

With smiles shining in their eyes,the two and the rest performed wonderfully.
