Emotinal night

It's morning 4 am. Trilochan is doing Puja. Anirudh, Bondita, Somnath and Batuk are standing by.

Trilochan: Bahu, distribute the prashad.

Bondita nodded and distributed it sadly.

Batuk: Here after who will make yummy yummy prashad?

Bondita: Don't worry, Batuk. Only 3 years you will need to miss this yummy prashad. Then I will be back.

She said in a low voice. Batuk smiled.

As usual, Somnath refused to get prashad from her.

Bondita: Anna, won't you get it atleast by now? I will not be here for next 3 years. So please get it once.

Somnath: For next 3 years you won't be here?

Bondita nods no. Somnath stretched his hand to get it. Bondita's smile widened. She placed the prashadh in his palm.

Somnath: I am getting it from you now because I am happy now. Thank God, our house will get it's peace again. Who know whether you will return or not!

Trilochan: Somnath!!!

Somnath smirked.

Anirudh: Kaka, it's time now. We are leaving. Bless us.

They two touched his feet. Trilochan blessed them with tears.

Trilochan: May Durga ma be with you in all the circumstances. Anirudh, you will leave Bombay after joining her in school?

Anirudh: Hn, Kaka. My admission is also there tomorrow. I will send you letters.

He smiled. Trilochan nodded. Batuk hugged Anirudh and says bye.

Somnath: Dada, take care. I will miss you a lot. This three years should run faster.

He smiled. Anirudh and Bondita stepped out of the house.

They together turned back once, family members are looking at them.

They waved bye and left the house.

After sometime, they reached railway station.

They got into train. Bondita's heart is mumbling to tell something. Same with Anirudh.

"Pati babu" "Bondita" both uttered at the same time.

They too looks on each other silently.

Anirudh thinks: What's wrong with me? Why my words are fighting with my heart? I am sending her to hostel only but why am I feeling that I am going to miss her?

His eyes became moist.

Bondita: Pati babu, will you forget me after you leave me in hostel?

She asked in low voice.

Anirudh: How will I forget you Bondita? I will write you letters daily, I will even call your hostel daily.

Bondita: Won't you miss me?

Anirudh looks on silently.

Bondita turned towards window with moist eyes.

Soon the time fled, they landed in Culcutta at night 8 pm.

Their hearts didn't want to get down from train but what to do, destiny has
its own plan.

They walked towards Anmol's haveli. He welcomed them warmly.

Pinky came running and hugged Bondita.

Anmol: I knew you will be presented here tonight.

Anirudh: Thank you so much for everything, sarpanch ji.
