Riley's POV/

Riley - Text me back!

I texted Drake for like... The tenth time today. I finished picking up the flowers and chocolates. It was so sweet... But I ruined it.

Riley - At least a hello. Something.

I groaned in frustration as I sent the last text to Drake. He's mad at me. And I didn't even cheat. Even if it looked like it... I didn't cheat. It was currently 6 PM and I'm stuck in my room. Waiting for my boyfriend to text me back. Great way how to spend my Monday night. My phone then started to ring as I checked my phone.

It was Sean

"Hey Sean... I'm fine... At seven? Holy crap... Yea I'll be ready... Okay bye" I hung up the phone with him.

Sean was going to be here in an hour. I literally forgot about that. I already took a shower. Okay... I ran into my closet to pick up my clothes that I sent Sean and quickly slipped it on. I also curled my hair and I looked at myself in the mirror. I started to apply eyeliner as my mother called me from downstairs.

"Shit" I muttered as I walked downstairs with my high heals in my hands. I slipped them on as I saw Sean standing there with my father staring at him and my mother stood there. He wore a blazer, black pants and a white shirt. He also had flowers and his hair was pushed back.

"Hello Riley. You look very stunning" Sean said as he handed me the flowers. "Very sweet for my daughter" My father said as I blushed.

"Uh dad, mom, this is Sean James. He's a senior at my school. Currently a jock that plays football" I smiled as Sean chuckled. "Nice to meet you both Mr. and Mrs. Lynch" He said as he shook their hands.

"So tell me Sean. What does your father do?" My mother asked as my eyes widen. "Mom..." I gritted through my teeth.

"It's fine honey. I just want to know" She said as I gulped. I know about his dad. It's not good. "Uh... Ahem. He is kinda..." Sean started as we stared at him.

"He passed away a couple of years ago. He was a doctor actually. He usually helped deliver babies" Sean coughed as I bit my lip.

"Oh... I am so sorry" My dad said as I rolled my eyes. My parents... "It's fine. It was a long time ago" Sean said as he smiled at me.

"I think your father helped deliver Riley. Dr. Adams was my doctor for my whole family" My mother smiled as Sean grinned widely. "Very ironic actually" Sean said as I nodded.

"When will you be back?" My dad asked as Sean stared at me and I stared back. "Around 10:30 or maybe even 11" Sean said as I nodded.

We then started to walk out the door as I waved at my parents. We got into Sean's car and we drove off. I smiled as I remembered the reason why Drake isn't texting me back. I should tell Sean that right?

"Let's go get our 'Maroon 5' on"

Sean's POV/

Impress her, impress her, impress her.

I needed to. As you can see, I have a little bit of a crush on her. But my reputation gets the best of me. I want to make Riley mine... But the stupid boyfriend is in the way. Drake, who happens to be my ex best friend. But... Riley didn't asked for that information so therefore, I will not say.

"What other seniors are going to be there?" She asked as I bit my lip. Thinking about what others were going to be there. "Uh, it is going to be Michelle, Larry, Andrew, Parker, Nia, Lauren and you and I" I finished.

"That's cool. I can't wait" Riley said as I chuckled. Admiring her enthusiasm. "Are we gonna meet them there?" She asked as I smiled.

"No, were meeting up at Starbucks first. Then we'll hit the road"
