Monday July 14th, 1986
I yawned as I looked at the calendar, it's almost been a week since we've arrived in California. I decided to do the wash this morning as Carole was at work and Bradley was laid down for his nap.
I looked at the clock as I waited for the most recent spin cycle to be done, it was only twelve o'clock and there was a knock at the door.
I opened the door to see a delivery man - with two others behind him, "Hello Ma'am are you Ms. Ryan?" The man asked looking down at his clipboard.
I nodded, "That's me!"
He smiled, "Great, we have quite a lot of boxes for you - if you'll sign here and point us in a direction to place them for you, we'll get those boxes all sorted out for ya"
