Chapter 21

Owen rested his head in the crook of her neck, as they were both panting like crazy.
He still kept her steady between his body and the metal bars of the cage.

He gently put Caithlyn down, making sure she was standing solidly on the ground in her high heels.

He quickly got dressed while Caithlyn straightened her dress and let her hair fall out of the updo.

Caithlyn awkwardly cleared her throat as she turned around and saw the four raptors looking at them, making Owen look behind him with wide eyes.

"Do you think they..." Caithlyn said questioningly.

"No. They weren't there, as we.." Owen started making her sigh in relief.

Owen slowly walked closer and gently touched her cheek.

"What now?" Caithlyn asked insecurely. Owen wrapped his arm around her and pulled her into a sweet kiss.

"Stay with me tonight." He said almost whispering as he broke the kiss.
Caithlyn smiled and nodded as she bit into her lower lip.
Owen placed a soft kiss on her forehead before he dragged her towards her car.

Owen drove them both back to his place.

He held Caithlyn's hand all the way back, except for when he had to shift. It was really sweet.

As they reached Owen's trailer, Caithlyn jumped out and grabbed her bag with her stuff from earlier before she followed Owen inside the trailer.

She closed the door behind her and placed her bag on the floor, before she took her high heels off with a relived sigh.

A strong pair of arms was wrapped around her waist from behind.

"You're so beautiful." Owen whispered in her ear, before he started to kiss down her neck while he slowly unzipped her dress.

He gently pushed the dress off her shoulders, letting it fall to the floor, before Caithlyn slowly turned around and faced him.

She grabbed the bottom of his shirt and pulled it off him before she let her hand trail down his muscular chest.

She lifted her head and looked into his deep green eyes, feeling her heart flutter.
Owen carefully lifted her up and Caithlyn wrapped her legs around him before he carried her to his bedroom.

A couple of hours later she was wrapped in Owen's arms, with her head resting on his chest.

"Are you okay?" Owen asked softly, looking down at her, trailing his fingers up and down her back.

"I'm fine." She reassured him.
Owen placed a soft kiss on her forehead before they both drifted off to sleep soon after.

Caithlyn woke really early the next morning, while Owen was still sleeping.

She couldn't help but smile, as she watched him sleep. She felt so lucky.

"What are you smiling about?" Owen asked sleepily.
"You." She chuckled lifting her head a bit to look at him.

Owen groaned before he sat up and crashed his lips onto hers, turning them both over.
Caithlyn looked up at Owen, who smiled at her while he gently pushed a strand of hair out of her face before he kissed her.

"Come on. Let's get up. I'll make breakfast." Owen said before he gave Caithlyn one last kiss and jumped out of bed.

Caithlyn got dressed in one of Owen's shirts before she walked to him in the kitchen.

"I'll just take a shower, if it's okay." Caithlyn said, wrapping her arms around Owen's waist from behind, while he was cooking by the stove.

Owen turned around to face her.
"Of course. Tell me if you need anything." He said before he kissed her gently.

He was so sweet and affectionate and she couldn't help but smile to herself as she walked towards the bathroom.
