Chapter 88: My Family (The End)

Two weeks later,

We had gone back to Korea.

I looked up at Taehyung. He was on his phone.

Actually, there was something I wanted to ask him. Something that I suspected was him, who'd been replying to my mom's messages about introducing me to the men.

But if I asked him, I was sure he wouldn't admit it. And I bet he even cleaned up the evidence.

Actually, there's only one piece of evidence I could think of.

My old phone, he's keeping it in his closet. I found it once.

"Honey," I called him.

"Yes?"

"Next year, Jihoon is going to elementary school. Which school do you want to send him to?"

"I don't know yet," said him.

"Oh"

"But I think anywhere around here. It's going to be easy for him to hang out with the neighbors' kids," said Taehyung.

"Yeah, you're right. Anyway, you're not working today?"

"Um, I beg for one day off. It was hard, you know?"

I giggled.

"So, you're working tomorrow?"

"Yup"

That's good. It's because I want to look for something on my old phone.

                  "Bye." I waved my hand off to Taehyung and Jihoon in the car.

I watched them until they disappeared from my sight.

After that, I went back inside, and I closed the door.

I look up at our room. The phone. My old phone.

If he really did, I won't be mad; I was just curious.

I went to our room, and then I opened his closet right away.

I already knew where he put it, so it's easy for me.

I sat down and pulled out a box from the lowest compartment.

I looked up throughout the box.

I got excited when I saw my old phone.

I pressed the turn-on button, but it didn't turn on.

I bet the battery was dead.

I turned the phone upside down to look at its charger port.

I sighed. It's using the USB cable.

We only had other type of chargers here.

Damn, this was such a mood spoiler. I sighed out again, and my shoulder drooped in disappointment.

I gasped when I remembered about the mouse charger. It's using USB!

I quickly went to my desktop computer and searched for the USB wire.

I found it and charged my phone with the computer through the USB wire.

I saw my phone charging, meaning it could be working.

After about five percent, I turned on my phone.

Damn, it's still working.

I quickly went to search for my chat history on this phone.
