•Haylie's POV•

At breakfast the next morning, I tried to find Rain so I could sit with her. I had to talk to her about something.

When I found her, I pulled her aside. "Can we talk?" I asked.

She smiled warmly. "Sure, what's up?"

"It's my sister," I started uneasily.

"Rosie?"

"Yeah, her. She, um...well she came to me in tears last night. I was wondering if you knew what happened."

"Aw, Haylie, I'm so sorry! No, I don't know what happened. I haven't even met Rosie, to be honest. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Um...I guess not. I just want to find out who hurt her. But she wouldn't tell me what happened," I explained.

"Aw. Well let me know if you need anything, okay?"

"Okay. Thanks, Rain." I smiled, but it was a weak one. I had to find out what was wrong with my sister.

I wanted this to be a good experience for her. Ever since our dad passed away, she'd fallen off the path. And I would do anything to get her back on track.
