I forced my eyes open only to find myself laid on a bed and in Gothi's hut.

"Hiccup probably knew." Was the first and only thought buzzing through my mind. I hope he isn't mad that I kept it a secret.

But hey, it's Hiccup we're talking about. The guy who has saved me countless times and also the softy.

But he's also my husband and I was afraid. Afraid of what? I don't know.
But now I see it was stupid to do and I had to go through all this....to make me realise.

I sat up slowly, wincing. I heard footsteps approaching and I knew it was Hiccup.

He looked at me and his eyes showed mixed emotions. "You shouldv'e told me." He said flatly.

I shook my head. " I know Hiccup. I-"

"You know?" He cuts me off, clenching his fists.

"Don't cut me off!" I yelled, sitting up straighter.

"I had the right to know. I'm it's father!"

"How about me? How do you think I feel? I was scared, alone."

"You could have still told me." He said lowly, crossing his arms agaisnt his chest. I dropped my head and sighed. "I couldn't. What if you were pregnant? Wouldn't you feel terrified at first?"

"I wouldn't have been terrified. I would have been smart to tell my own husband and not go dragon racing!"

I groaned in defeat and shook my head. I heard Hiccup sigh before taking a seat on the bed next to me. "Sorry." He breathed agaisnt my neck.

"I'm sorry too." I said.

"I think it's amazing. You shouldn't be afraid of telling me. What could I possibly do? Feed you to non-existent Night Furies?" He laughed softly.

I let out a huge sigh of relief and streched my arms out, indicating I wanted a hug.

He pulled me into a tight and warm embrace, being careful of my unfortunate injury.

"No more dragon racing for the next nine months young lady." Valka said, striding into the room. I laughed as she joined our group hug.

"And about that...cut..." Hiccup trailed off.

"It's okay Hiccup." I shook it off.

"It was accidental, Astrid. I'm sorry."

"Don't blame yourself, blame Toothless!"

At the mention of his name, Toothless came bouncing into the room with his tounge hung out, licking my face.

"Ew! Toothless Stop!"
