What would you have refered her by?

Astrid? Hofferson?

Or simply just Astrid?

Well, she had most definitely changed her name.

Astrid Haddock, wife Of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third.

Or better yet:

Astrid, The Maiden, The Valor Warrior.

The strong female soldier of Berk, a dragon trainer,a wife and a mother.

She's a unique breed.

I love her so much.

And I still do. "

Hiccup, the chief, finished off. He stepped of the podium slowly and Stood beside his daughter, Athena.

Athena's tear streaked face glitered in the moonshine as she cried for the loss of her mother.

Hiccup had tried to hug it out with her and sooth her anguish with reasurring words, but to not avail. Athena was inconsolable.

Astrid had died.

But she had died with all those things.

She died with honour and that was what mattered for her name. She had died with a purpose, to defend her child.  She had died for love, to ensure her chief would continue to be chief. She had died because she was selfless.

Though, Hiccup was broken with the dragons leaving forever and his wife, gone.

Toothless was nowhere near his side anymore. Stormfly was dead. Each and every dragon vanished.

But why?

What was Berk to do now?

Now that their chief was broken?

Now that,

The dragons were extinct?

What are they going to do?
