Hiccup's pov
"No."
"Why not?!"
"Because."
"Because???"
"Because no."
"I can handle myself!"
"No."
"Am I getting anywhere? Please Hiccup."
"No and no."
I glared at my stubborn Astrid; arms crossed and fuming.
"Tell me why." She demanded.
Oh gods. "You know why."
"I don't need to be treated like a child just because I am with child. I'm not even showing yet, come on." She protested.
"Yes you are." I gestured to her small baby bump.
Instinctively, she placed her hand over it and sighed, bringing her head down in frustration, making her fringe hide her eyes.
I sighed as well as I made my way over to her. "I know this is difficult for you, Astrid. You were a Hofferson for Thor's sake."
"I can't have you in this battle, or any other battle until after you have given birth. Is that understood?"
It killed me to do this to her; but I had to protect them. They was too much at stake for me.
"I love you two too much. You know it." I begged, taking her hand and kissing it.
She finally looked up and hugged me gently. "Fine." She whispered against my neck.
I pulled away and smiled as I placed my hand over her baby bump and leaned my forehead against hers sweetly. "Little chief."
She placed her hand ontop of mine and squeezed it.

My first Hiccstrid story!!! I'm planning it out right now...the first few chapters will be out before the end of the year.
Still working out a story but i've always wanted to do this. Oneshots are just easier :D any suggestions about a hiccstrid story?
