Nyonika woke up as her phone buzzed. She had kept it on vibrate mode so that the ringer sound doesn't disturb Nandini. Nyo took the call.
"Ji Maa"
"Ji woh thik hai"
"Thik hai Maa, aap aajayiye"
She cut the call and got up from the couch to see Nandini but something made her stop for a moment. A small smile appeared on her lips which started growing bigger and bigger as she walked towards Nandini's bed with baby steps. Nandini was sleeping peacefully in her bed while Manik was sitting on the chair close to the bed with his head resting on her bed and his fingers entwined with hers.

Manik couldn't sleep the whole night. He kept on checking Nandini every hour. Even he didn't know when he unknowingly entwined his fingers with hers and drifted to sleep. Her touch always gives him solace and may b that was the reason that finally made him sleep.
Nyo's pov
Oh my God! Mujhe apni aankhon par yakeen nahi ho raha. Kahin mein sapna toh nahi dekh rahi hun. Please God, yeh sab sach ho. (Her happiness had no bounds) Dono kitne pyaare lag rahe hain. (She immediately clicked a photo of them) Lagta hai bhagwan ne meri sun li...jo mein hamesha se chahti thi woh ab hota nazar aa raha hai. Manik ko kabhi kisi k liye itna pareshaan hote nahi dekha. Aisa lagta hai Manik Nandini ko pasand karne laga hai. Hey bhagwan jo mein soch rahi hun please woh sach ho...(She joins her hands 🙏and prays to the God) Mujhe Manik se is baare mein baat karni chahiye. Kam se Kam uske mann mein kya hai pata toh chale.
She then remembered that Amms was going to come to see Nandini so she thought of waking up Manik before she sees them like this.
Nyo slowly caressed his hair: Manik...beta...
Manik woke up with a start: Nandini...he looked at her and checked her by keeping his palm first on her forehead and then on her cheeks.
