Melissa's POV

I was thrown by my boys sudden appearance. It wasn't that I wasn't happy to see them, just shocked as they were suppose to be gone for another week. I had no clue Kevin was bringing them back early. I hated surprises like this. My oldest only said, "Daddy said that it was time to come home."

I frowned then asked him, "Where is your father?"

He then pointed. I looked in the direction he was pointing which was closer to the driveway and saw Kevin. He was a good fifteen feet from the group. Max saw him and he looked angry. "Want me to handle him, Lissa?" He asked.

"No." I quickly said. "The boys."

He just nodded. Then I said to my boys, "Come on, let's go say bye to your father and get you ready for bed. It is way past your bedtime."

They groaned and I smiled as I did miss that. "Enough of that." Then I looked at Cindy. "Will you get the boys inside and get them ready for bed. I need to talk to Kevin for a few moments."

Cindy just nodded as she stood. I looked at the group and said to them, "I'll be back shortly."

Then I looked at Seth, who looked a little worried. I gave him a reassuring smile. I knew he was worried about what would be said. My boys ran back over to Kevin and hugged him as Cindy and I walked up to them. I heard him tell them, "I'll miss you boys and love you."

He did love our boys, I couldn't deny that, and was a good father when he actually tired. But sometimes he did stupid shit. But he had serious potential to be a wonderful father if he would get his head out of his ass. They said their goodbyes then quickly went inside with Cindy. He smiled at me. "So, how are you doing, Lissa?"

I was not happy with him. "What the hell, Kevin? You weren't suppose to bring them home for another week."

"Well, I have to go to the field for the next month, so I figured I bring them home early." He told me.

"But you couldn't call or text me first to tell me that you were bringing them back early?" I asked him annoyed. I understood he had to do what the army told him to but a little heads up would have been nice.

"So, what? Your children are a burden to you now?" He asked. I knew what he was doing.

"That's not it and you know it. But it is common courtesy to let me know you were bringing them back a little early. And you could have given me a heads up so I could have planned for them to come back. God knows what they could have walked in on." Then it hit me as he gave me a smirk. "But that is what you were hoping for, huh?"

He just continued to smirk. Then he looked at me up and down. "God, you are so sexy, baby." He went to move his hand to my face.

I quickly smacked it away. "Don't touch me." I said with disdain.

Seth was only feet away and Kevin was being bold. He grabbed my hand. "Come on, baby. You know you miss us."

"No!" I got a bit louder. Then quickly calmed myself but was angry. "And don't touch me." My teeth gritted as I pulled my hand away.

Before I knew it, Seth was next to me. He gently moved me behind him. He was angry. He stared at Kevin and Kevin was smiled as he was amused. "So, you must be the boyfriend. I'm the ex husband." He stuck out his hand. "Kevin."

Seth didn't take it, he just looked at Kevin in the eyes. "I think it is best that you leave."

Seth seemed really angry and it worried me as I have never seen him like that. Kevin put his hand down when he realized Seth wasn't going to take it and he was still smiling, still highly amused. Kevin was bigger then Seth but it didn't seem to intimate Seth at all. Kevin stepped closer to him and said in a hushed tone, "I have to ask you though, is she still really...you know." Then he made a fist and held it up as to indicate tight as he made a slight grunt. Seth was only getting angrier. He balled up his fist on the side of him. Kevin kept going. "Cause I have to say, that is the one thing I miss the most, like that moment I would push myself inside her and feel how tight she was. Always got me going." I saw Seth becoming pissed. I grabbed his arm as to tell him to walk away. He didn't bow down though, he stood his ground. "You know thinking about it now is making my dick hard." Kevin grinned at Seth, then laughed. Kevin was trying to so hard to push Seth. And pushed him, he did, cause Seth snapped. Without a word, he pushed Kevin back to arms length with one hand, then punched him across his face with the other fist. Kevin staggered backwards. I was in shock by Seth. And I wasn't the only one as I heard a couple people gasp and I looked at the group. A lot of them were shocked by Seth's burst of violence. Some of the men stood, waiting to see if they needed to intervene. I looked back at Seth and he just stood there, still angry, refusing to step down. Kevin found his composer and touched his lip as it bleed and saw the blood on his hand. He looked at Seth in anger. "Oh, you are dead."
