Melissa's POV

Things are back to normal for Seth and I. He told me he told Rachael about my miscarriage and outside of that, only Cindy knew. I didn't want anyone else to know. Seth understood. I decided it was time for a get together. Been since Cindy got the group together for me to apologize that we had one. I needed time with the people I love. Seth would be there as well as his friends. Last time we did this with his friends, it ended in disaster. But I knew it would be so much better. My friends were there as they helped me get everything together. Seth was also there. He kept the kids entertained in the backyard. They were playing football and it was clear Seth was not athletic. I would glimpse out the back window to the backyard from time to time as they played. I laughed as the boys whooped Seth in sports. Cindy, Amy, Karen and I were inside prepping the meal. I was planning on cooking on the grill. Cindy asked, "So, how are things with Seth?"

"Great." I smiled.

"I bet they are. You two are like attached to the hip." Amy chimed in with a smile.

"We are not that bad." I rolled my eyes.

"When are you two not together when you two are not working?" She asked.

She had a point. Seth even started to stay the night at my house almost ever night. I loved it though. I shook my head and laughed. "Okay, so maybe we are. But is it really a bad thing?"

"No, not saying it was." Amy smiled. "But you two plan on getting more serious?"

I shrugged. "Maybe one day. Right now I am happy with the way things are."

The doorbell rang and Cindy quickly said, "I got it."

She disappeared out of the room and a few moments later, came in with Rachael, her husband, Spencer, and their girls. I looked at them and said, "Hey ya'll. So glad ya'll can make it."

"You weren't joking. Her accent is really thick." Spencer said.

I laughed. I walked over and Rachael introduced us. "This is my husband, Spencer. And my girls, Bella and Perrin. This is Uncle Seth's girlfriend, Lissa."

"It's nice to meet ya'll." I saw her youngest in her arms. She was only a couple months old. I awed at the child. "She is so adorable. So little. At times I miss mine at this age."

Rachael asked, "You want to hold her?"

"Um, sure." I smiled.

She handed the infant to me and I looked down at her. I quickly went into what naturally came. I was talking to the young child as I held her. I noticed Rachael smiling at me. I looked at her and asked, "What?"

"You are just a natural." She smiled.

"Well, I have three of my own, so I better be." I said with a smile.

I went back to the child. And I talked to her as she smiled at me. Seth just walked in and saw me. He then looked at his sister and asked, "When did you guys get here?"

"Just now." Rachael told him.

Seth asked, "Did you meet everyone?"

"No, we were just saying hi and I passed off the little one." She told him and looked at me with a smile.

I saw what she was doing. I knew Seth told her about me not wanting more kids. And now I was holding this infant. She was trying to get me to change my mind. Seth looked at me and smiled. "I see that." Then he said, "Well, this is Lissa's friends Karen, Amy, and Cindy. Everyone this is my sister, Rachael. My brother in law, Spencer. My nieces Bella and the little one is Perrin."
