Melissa's POV

It's been a few days now since the news got out. Everyday that Seth left for work, he dreaded it. Everyday he came home, he was down. I hated seeing my husband like this. He was in pain. I became a little worried of this. I would always comfort him when he came home. He needed it. One evening, a few days away from our renewal ceremony, he came home and he seemed so drained. I walked over to him and hugged him. I could tell he needed it. He breathed into my neck, "I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you to come home to after days like today."

I pulled away and said, "Don't say that, Seth. Talk like that scares me."

He hung his head. "I'm sorry, love. It's not what I meant though."

"Do I need to worry that you will do something stupid again?" I asked, concerned.

He quickly answered, "God, no!" Then he licked his lips and said, "I couldn't do that to you all again. It's just really hard right now."

"What happened?" I asked.

"Paparazzi. They are getting worse. I don't know how to deal with the questions they ask. It's just getting too much. I don't even want to leave the house. If I didn't have to work, I probably wouldn't." He said, almost sadly.

I frowned. I hated to hear that it was that bad. They were pestering me too but I ignored them. I guess it was a little harder on Seth as this was about what he did. He already felt guilty, he didn't want to explain it to the world. I understood that. I moved over to him and hugged him, tightly. He wrapped his arms around me and didn't move. I knew he needed this. I pulled back. I gave him a small smile. "Just imagine though, in a few days we will be renewing our vows."

"Do you think that we should still do this?" He seemed concerned again. "Just with everything."

"Yes, Seth." I was bewildered about this. "After everything that has happened, this should happen even more so now. This day is more about us. I made sure this would be perfect for you. I wanted this perfect. I know you never had a real wedding. You married me at the courthouse cause I didn't want a wedding. Now it is your turn. I know you wanted this, Seth. So, no backing out. It will be fun and make you forget about everything. Then we are off to our honeymoon we never got. It will be good for you, especially now."

Seth nodded. "You might be right."

"I know I am." I smiled. "We can get away from those vultures for a week and forget all our problems. Just our focus on each other."

He smiled at this. "I like the sound of that."

My smile gets bigger as I am glad to see the smile on his face. "Good." I move in and took his lips gently.

Just then KJ walked in as we pull away. "No, don't stop cause of me." He joked.

I rolled my eyes and Seth chuckled. KJ patted Seth on the shoulder then jumped up on the counter as he sat on it and said, "What's up, pops?"

"Really, pops now?" Seth chuckled.

KJ shrugged as he smiled. "Why not?"

"Sometimes I wonder where you came from?" Seth joked.

Just then Jacob walked in, he saw Seth and rolled his eyes. "I'll be in my room." He said, coldly.

He still was giving Seth the cold shoulder. He walked upstairs and I was over how he was treating Seth. I said to the guys, "I'll be right back."

I quickly followed Jacob upstairs and went to his room. He was already on his bed. "What is your deal, Jacob?" He just rolled his eyes at me. "He is your father. Why are you being cruel to him?" He just huffed and put earbuds into his ear. I quickly walked over and pulled them out of his ears. "Listen to me now, son. You know what you doing is not right. Your father already has been through a lot and it's only getting worse. He needs us to be there for him."
