Melissa's POV

Our home was chaotic but still felt like it was missing something. KJ. I hated he was gone so far away. But he called every night, I knew that was Seth's doing. He told us the great news that he made first string. I was so happy for him. We talked about catching his games before this news but now we knew, we had to go and see our son play. He would be the youngest player of the season. Seth didn't seem so shock by the news. But he was happy. I did hear him tell KJ, "I told you, son. You have that determination like your old man."

I couldn't help but to smile at this. Seem like they had a conversation about this before hand and probably was a pep talk that KJ need from his father. I was happy that KJ had him. That all my kids did. He was a wonderful father to them. I was sleeping next to Seth when Jennifer woke up crying. At this point she was sleeping through the night but she had been sick all night. It was the third time she got up. I woke up the first two times and Seth didn't budge. I groaned and pushed the blanket off. I felt Seth move his arms around me and hugged me. "I got her."

I looked over at him and asked, "Are you sure? She is not feeling good."

He smiled and said, "Yes, love. Go back to sleep."

He gave me a peck on my cheek and I laid back down. I felt Seth get out of bed and walk out. I started to doze off as soon as I heard Jennifer quiet down. I was almost out, when I heard music. It wasn't loud but I heard it all the same. It didn't bother me, only intrigued me. I opened my eyes as I was wondering what was going on. I got out of bed and walked down the hall as the music got a little louder. It didn't blare, was low but still got louder. I got to Jennifer's room as her door was open and peeked in. What I saw was a beautiful sight. Seth had Frank Sinatra's I Can't Stop Loving You playing from his phone. He was singing along as he was dancing gently with her in his arms. I just watched as he sang to her and dance.

I can't stop lovin' you, so I've made up my mind

To live in memory of old lonesome times

I can't stop wantin' you, it's useless to say

So I'll just live my life, I live it all in dreams of yesterday

Those happy hours that we once knew

Though long ago, they make me feel blue

They say that time heals a broken heart

But time has stood still since we've been apart

At no use of trying, to try to pretend

There is someone new I'll be living a lie

I can't stop wantin' you, the way that I do

There has only be one love for me, that one love is you

There has only be one love for me, that one love is you

Yeah, baby, there has only be one love for me, that one love is you

The music ended and Seth moved over to his phone as he shut off the music. Jennifer had fallen back asleep in his arms. I watched as he kissed the top of her head. I moved more in the door frame and he saw me. I leaned against it and he asked, "How long have you been there?"

"Long enough." I smiled. "That was beautiful, Seth."

He smiled at me as he slightly blushed. He said, "She seemed to like it. She is back to sleep."

I moved in and walked over to him. I moved against on the side Jennifer wasn't at and he wrapped his free arm around me. I moved my hand to the back of her head and held it there. I looked up at him and said, sweetly, "She loves her, daddy. She seemed so calm when you sang to her. It was precious. I am glad I got to witness that. Something that will stay in my memory."
