High School (Part Two)

So what you were a freshman already? It wasn't that big of a deal. You were just advancing in life like everyone else. Nothing special about it.

Yoongi looked at the calendar on the fridge. There was something written on almost every day. There were trips, important exams dates, and even volleyball practices here and there. "Jungkook's college starts back in a few weeks? You mean he's already enrolled?"

Namjoon hoisted himself up and sat down on the counter. "Yup. You know how eager he was to send in his application."

Yoongi nodded and continued to scan the calendar. "And (Y/N) starts school a week before him."

Namjoon only said "yup" in response.

"She's going to be in high school."

"Yup."

Then it finally dawned on Yoongi that you weren't the little elementary student anymore. You weren't going to come home with a big smile on your face and beg them to play "princess" anymore. You weren't going to ask them to explain the simplest things anymore. You weren't going to walk in the front door and tell each sibling about your day anymore. Yoongi sighed. "Growing up sucks, man."
