You were in the sixth grade and it was near the end of the school year. You heard all sorts of buzz every time you passed by the bulletin board so when people weren't crowded around it, you went to see what all the commotion was about. And thus, you were introduced to your school's end of the year tradition: the talent show.

"Jin, I want to do that!" you announced, running through the front door behind the twins.

"Do what?" Jin asked, confused.

"She's talking about the talent show," Taehyung chuckled, seeing your excitement.

Jin smiled. "You do? Well, which of your many talents are you going to show off?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "She doesn't have any talents."

"Kim Jungkook, I will gladly make your grounding longer," Jin scolded.

"I was thinking about singing!" You loved to sing, even if you were told that you sounded like a dying cat. You thought it would be fun to exhibit your talent at your first talent show in front of all your friends and fellow students.

"That sounds fun!" Jin cheered. "Do you know what song?"

You shook your head. "I was thinking Yoongi could play the piano for me."

"That would be so cute!" Jimin cooed. "I can't wait to see your performance!"

So you set to work on convincing your brother. You bounded up the stairs and down the hall until you reached Yoongi's music room. You knocked lightly, waiting until you heard his voice giving you permission to enter. You quietly opened the door before skipping to your brother's side. "Yoongi, can I ask you for a favor?"

Yoongi, not taking his eyes off the screen, asked you what you wanted.

"Well," you started, trying to be as cute and adorable as possible to woo him over, "you can play the piano really, really good, and I was wondering if you could help me at the talent show."

"Ew, no," your brother dismissed.

Your mouth formed an "o" as you stared at him in shock. "Oh, okay, then."

Yoongi looked at you as you turned to leave but he grabbed your arm, stopping his little eleven-year-old sister. He pushed his head phones back. "What did you say? I wasn't talking about you, princess. I was just looking at the lyrics I wrote at two this morning and they sound like crap."

A smile returned to your face as you realized you had a second chance. "I was wondering if you could play the piano while I sang at the talent show."

"Ew, no," Yoongi repeated.

You huffed, throwing your hands down. "What? Why not? Yoongi, you play really well!"

Yoongi shook his head. "Last time I played the piano at that stupid talent show, I got interrupted I don't know how many times and not to mention the judging is rigged. Don't waste your time, (Y/N)."

You pouted. "But I really want to sing!"

"Then sing by yourself," Yoongi answered.

"But I wanted to do it with you!" you groaned. "I don't want to be alone. You always tell me that doing things with friends always helps you overcome worries."

Yoongi thought for a moment. "Fine. I'll play for you if I'm free that time. But if we don't win first place, princess, I might have to take your TV away."

You gasped. "I'll pick out a song and start practicing right away, Yoongi! We'll win, don't worry!" You grabbed his hand and laid it out, palm facing upwards before you gave it a high-five. You then hurried off, going to your room to brainstorm ideas as your brother chuckled at your enthusiasm.
