The Kim family was in the Halloween store, accompanying the younger kids of the family to find some costumes. You had found yours already which was a pink princess getup. So instead of staying with Jungkook and the twins to find costumes, you held Namjoon's hand as he walked around the store.

You were terrified of things like ghosts and zombies so you were alert at all times, watching for some creature to jump out from behind a shelf at you. Namjoon walked into one aisle and you cowered immediately, seeing the animatronics of every nightmare you had moving and alive. You whined, feeling tears prick your eyes.

"Namjoon-oppa, no," you cried, fighting back against his pull.

Namjoon noticed and smiled. He picked you in his strong arms and kissed your cheek. "Don't worry, kid. They aren't going to hurt you. They're just fake."

You shook your head. "They'll eat us, oppa!"

Namjoon shook his head and made his way down the aisle. You hid your face in his neck, holding onto his t-shirt tightly. "Oppa, please, get out."

Namjoon sighed and walked out of the aisle. "See, kid? Nothing got you while we were in there." He looked at the animatronics and smirked. "And if they did, I would've beat them up, wouldn't I?"

You nodded. Namjoon went to put you down but you refused, clinging onto his shirt. "No, no, no. I want you to carry me all the way around!"

Namjoon grinned and kissed your forehead. "Okay, (Y/N). Let's go get, Hoseok-hyung, though. I'm sure he'll love this."
