Earthquake?

"The best (Y/N)," Yoongi chuckled, "is half-asleep (Y/N)."

"True," you agreed.

"Yeah, I have a ton of stories of her like that," Jin said.

"Of course," Jimin giggled. "Who doesn't?"

"Oh wait, I think I have a good one," Hoseok brought up.

"Oh really?" Namjoon asked. "Let's hear it."

It was around 1AM and Hoseok was returning to his shared bed with Yoongi from a trip to the bathroom. The Kim family was at a hotel and you would be sharing a bed with Taehyung, but he had fell asleep in the other room with Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, and Namjoon, so you were alone. Hoseok didn't bother turning on the lights to find his way back, but maybe he should have. And he accidently bumped into your bed, and it didn't go unnoticed.

You had woken up and you were in a half-sleep-half-awake state. You could see Hoseok's figure in the dark and you saw him bump into your bed, but your mind went somewhere else.

"Hoseok?" you called.

"Yes, dongsaeng?" he answered.

"Did you feel that?" you asked.

"Feel what?"

"That earthquake."

Hoseok looked at you, confused. "Earthquake?"

"Yeah," you responded. "That earthquake. You didn't feel it?" Your voice was very groggy. Hoseok realized you probably mistook your bed shaking for an earthquake and not a visually-impared brother.

Hoseok giggled. "Go back to sleep, dongsaeng. We'll see if they say something about it in the morning."

You [Yoongi] are one of the most inspiring people I've ever heard about. Through all your hard times you only put forth all your effort and strength to put the best you out there. You don't let people tell you no and you chase your dreams no matter how far off they seem. Props to you because I give up on things easily.

I wish I could tell you in person how much I love you and how much you inspire me, but I hope you feel the love from all the way in my small town nevertheless! In this new year, I hope you come across happy memories, kind people, and beautiful places.
