You had noticed Namjoon hadn't been talking to you as much. You would try to start a conversation but he would just respond with little phrases like "yeah" or "no" or only a little hum of acknowledgement. So you were concerned. Was he mad at you? What was going on?
So you asked him. You sat at the foot of his bed and put your head in your hands. "Are you mad at me, Joonie?"
Namjoon smiled. "No, of course not. Why would you think that?"
"You're just really quiet lately," you responded. "I thought you might be mad at me."
"Kid, it would take a lot for me to be mad at you," he grinned. "I don't think I could ever be mad at you."
"Oh, that's good," you sighed. "Just stop being so quiet. It makes me scared."
"Alright, kiddo."
