"Where have you been?" Elena whined as I opened the door. "I was helping Colby with a video," I say nonchalantly. "You didn't tell me! I was worried sick and your phone wouldn't ring!" I laughed as she hugged me.
"I turned it off so we wouldn't wake Corey up," I said as she pulled away. "Oh? What was the video?" she asked. "A makeup prank on Corey," I said as I sat down next to her on the couch. "Lucky! I wish I could've gone with you," she whined.
"It was last minute," I shrugged.
"Well you still should've at least told me!" she grabbed my hand and sat me on the sofa. "So how'd Kai go?" she asked, holding my hands and squeezing them tight.
"Fine..." I chuckle, "great."
She smiled wide. "Really? That's great! So how did the thing with Colby go?" she asked excitedly. "Perfect. The prank went perfectly, I think. And Corey didn't even get that mad!" I chuckle. "Good," she smiled mischievously. "Uh-oh. What's that look for?"
"Because you and I have another exploration video to do with them."
