"Kacchan...aren't you gonna finish your eggs?"

"Eggs are fucking gross." You raised an eyebrow as you watched Katsuki eat his bacon, toast, pancakes, and not his eggs. You couldn't imagine turning down something Mitsuki made since everything she touched ended up being delicious. You could live off of her food for forever. Food made with a mother's love just somehow tastes a little bit better.

"I didn't know you didn't like eggs," You stated in surprise, drinking some orange juice. You guys had another thirty minutes before you needed to leave for school, a full day of heroes courses to complete before the UA Sports Festival. Katsuki seemed tired, a few dark bags under his eyes, his usually bright crimson eyes were semi-dull. You couldn't help but wonder if he was having bad dreams. Maybe it was from stress before the festival...or maybe something to do with those villains that attacked.

"You okay? You look tired."

"I'm fine." You were concerned but knew if Katsuki wanted to talk about it with you, he would.

"Okay. Oh hey, give me your plate and I'll wash the dishes for your mom." You stood up with your cleaned plate, about to take Katsuki's when the blond stopped you.

"Hey hey hey. It's my house. My dishes." Katsuki grabbed the dish out of your hand and then took the silverware to the sink, cleaning off everything like new.  You smiled at the boy and watched his back muscles move in his black tank top as he washed them.

Katsuki was definitely built.

"Hey kids you should probably dress for schoo- holy fuck!" Mitsuki shouted as she entered the kitchen with her coffee.

"What the fuck are you yelling for old hag!" Katsuki shouted at his mom. She looked floored.

"I'm just surprised you're doing the fucking dishes for once! Did hell freeze over? Should I buy a lottery ticket?" Katsuki's eyes turned white in rage as he scrubbed the plates vigorously.

"You want me to do the fucking dishes or not?"

"Hey I'm shocked, not complaining." Mitsuki turned to you and winked before sipping her coffee. You couldn't help but wonder if Katsuki was only being responsible to show off in front of you. You smiled while sipping your orange juice.

Katsuki Bakugo...trying to impress a girl with simple household chores. Who would have thought?

~~

The days have started to pass rather quickly, with Katsuki just assuming you would be coming home with him for dinner and to study instead of the classroom. You felt that you both focused in the classroom more, but something about sitting on the floor in Katsuki's room so close to him and sharing the same book...it was something both of you would never admit you loved to do. So with unspoken words, it became a budding routine after classes.

Your grades were going up, your training was becoming vigorous, and your relationship with the Bakugo family started to get closer.

It was the happiest feeling you've ever had in your life.

That was until today. The UA Sports Festival.

You were stationed in your dorm room, insisting to Katsuki that you would sleep there the night before the Sports Festival so you could fully prepare . He seemed annoyed but didn't argue with you about it. You laid in bed, looking at the alarm clock that blared 6:00 in bright neon red. With a groan, you slammed your hand down on the clock, snoozing the alarm for just five more minutes. You were awake, however, your eyes were swollen and tired.
