Chapter 30: Happy Birthday 🎉 🥳

Today is a special day, it's Peter's birthday! And boy do the avengers and May have a plan in motion. They're throwing a surprise party for him all Ned and Mj have to do is keep him distracted.

Peter was walking to his favorite cafe to meet Ned and Mj he stepped in the door away from the cold rain and shook his umbrella walking towards his friends sitting at a small table. "Hey guys." Peter greeted.

"Hey Pete." Ned greeted. "What's up loser." Mj greeted, Peter was a little disappointed when May said she had to work on his birthday but didn't want to guilt trip her because he would feel bad.

Ned exclaimed, "Happy birthday bro!"

"Yeah happy birthday."

"Thanks guys."

"What are you gonna do today birthday boy?" Ned asked.

"I don't know Aunt May's at work and Mr. Stark is on a business trip so nothing I guess."

"We could hangout with you so you're not lonely." Mj suggests.

Ned exclaims, "Breaking news Peter Parker Mj does have a heart!"

Mj warned, "Shut up before I slap you so hard you'll have an out of body experience."

Ned put his hands up in surrender as did Peter but he was only doing it for Ned. "Well it is your birthday Peter so what do you want to do?" Mj asked.

Whenever Peter's birthday came around He always hated when the attention was on him when he was younger he liked it but as he got older he started disliking it. "There's a new science kit I want to check out at science and co so we could go there." Peter suggested.

"You seem unsure what's up dude." Ned said.

"Whenever my birthday comes around I always get embarrassed because of all the attention I don't know it seems weird."

"I don't like when attention is on me either loser."

"You avoid interaction Mj like all the time." Peter said.

"Do I avoid you guys?"

"Sometimes." Ned answered.

Before Mj and Ned could get into it Peter shut it down quickly before everything went upside down. (Yes that was a Stranger Things reference.)

"Well then friends let's go."

"What was that Parker?" Mj asked.

They all paid for their drinks then went out the door and Peter answered Mj's question. "It's simple Jones I'm keeping the peace before a war starts."

Peter looked at Mj who gave him a death glare and he laughed. "You know I'm right Michelle."

They all laughed then proceeded to walk to sci-fi nerds while they were there Ned got a text from Tony saying to bring peter over. "Hey peter we have a surprise for you." Ned said.

"Alright." He replied.

After Peter was done looking at the science kit he sadly wasn't able to afford he made his way to Ned and Mj. Mj put a blindfold over his eyes and grabbed his hand walking then getting into a vehicle, aka Happy's car. "Guys where are we going?"

"Parker why do you always ask questions?"

"I don't know scientists always ask questions."

They arrived at the compound where they stood in the middle of the living room. Ned told peter to take off his blindfold and when he did he got the surprise of his life literally. "SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled.

"Wow thank you guys."

Everyone had a great time watching Peter open gifts and watch movies overall it was great but for a few minutes the birthday boy had disappeared so Tony got up from his seat in search for the boy.

He waltzed into Peter's room and saw him on the floor outside on his balcony looking up at the stars. "Enjoying your special day kiddo?"

Peter looked back to see where the voice was coming from and his eyes met Tony's. "As much as I can Mr. Stark." He replied.

"Good I have one more gift for you."

"Mr. Stark i don't need anymore gifts i'm grateful for all that i've gotten."

"Oh but i think you'll love this one more than anything."

Tony went to a random wall where a flash drive key came out he stuck the flash drive in and let the data sync. "Say hello Pete."

"Why Mr. Stark?"

Tony laughed a little, "Just do it kid."

Peter looked up at the ceiling and proceeded to say, "H-hello?"

"Good evening Peter." A voice called out.

"Mr. Stark did you upgrade Friday or something because it doesn't sound like her."

"No I didn't Peter I uploaded a new AI for you in here she is just like a human i fixed my mistake with Ultron and created an AI just for you it's someone you should recognize."

"I'm confused Mr. Stark someone i should recognize i've never heard this woman before."

Oh but little did Peter know everyone was watching the live security feed in his room and May knew who's voice that was and it moved her to tears her nephew forgot the sound of his own mother. "If it's not May, then who is it Mr. Stark?"

"It's your mom Peter."

Peter was shocked covering his mouth, "M-my mom h-how oh my gosh."

"It's her it's actually her for the longest time i never knew the sound of her voice so i made it up in my head."

"You can have conversations with her like if she were here there are no limits."

"How did you know her?" Peter asked.

"Your mom and I were close friends we met at a seminar years ago."

Peter ran up to Tony and hugged him tightly, "Thank you Mr. Stark."

"You're welcome kid now I'll leave you two alone."

Tony left while peter laid down on his bed looking up at the ceiling tears rolling down his cheeks. "Hi mom."

"Hi my Peter Pan."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Ask away sweetheart."

"Do you know what traits I inherited from you and dad?"

"From what I've heard you are very intelligent, kind, always wanting to help others before yourself."

"When your father and i first got you glasses you always fiddled with them just like dad you're very inventive like me at least that's what tony said."

"I miss you i wish you were here today i'm officially sixteen years old are you proud i made it this far."

"I'm very proud and happy birthday."

"Thanks mom i love you."

"I love you too Peter."

"I've got to go mom but i'll talk tomorrow and tell you about school okay?"

"Okay bye peter."

Peter leapt from his bed and ran to May engulfing her in a hug crying. "I got to talk to her aunt May i talked to mom."

"I know peter, i know."

She lightly kissed his forehead they didn't care if the team were watching Peter got what he's been wanting for sixteen whole years. To hear his mother's voice and be able to keep it in his memory.
