Whenever Peter asked Steve about living life in the forties, the latter didn't realize just how much his son would geek out about it all. But Steve was proud that his son wanted to learn more about his father, and took pride in his father's upbringing. He never knew Peter was immensely interested in the stories about the many adventures he and Bucky went on, and seeing the curiosity in the boy's eyes was the best feeling any proud father could ever have.

He and Peter walked all throughout what was now Brooklyn hand in hand since Peter is ten and gets distracted easily and I mean easily distracted. The kid has ADHD also known as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.  (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a mental disorder of the neurodevelopmental type. It is characterized by difficulty paying attention, excessive activity and acting without regards to consequences, which are otherwise not appropriate for a person's age. Individuals with ADHD can also display problems with regulating emotions. The symptoms appear before a person is twelve years old, are present for more than six months, and cause problems in at least two settings. In children, problems paying attention may result in poor school performance. Additionally there is an association with other mental disorders and substance misuse. Although it causes impairment, particularly in modern society, many people with ADHD can have sustained attention for tasks they find interesting or rewarding. Despite being the most commonly studied and diagnosed mental disorder in children and adolescents, the exact cause is unknown in the majority of cases.)

But Steve knows how to handle it as Peter will ask many questions at a fast pace sometimes and he answers them to the best of his ability. Sometimes Peter gets frustrated with himself because of how much his brain runs a mile a second.

They continued to walk around and talk but soon Peter was tired and so they headed back home. By then it was pretty late so Steve tucked Peter into bed. "Papa?" Peter's small voice asked.

"Yes baby?" Steve replied.

"Can you tell me another story about you and uncle Bucky?"

"Sure Bambi." Steve snuggled with his son and told him a story about that time a guy wouldn't stop talking in a theater. (CAFA reference!)

"Uncle Bucky had to save me again he punched that guy and he ran away." Steve concluded.

Peter frowned slightly, "You shouldn't have gotten hurt Papa."

"I know baby but sometimes the good fight is worth fighting for.."

"Papa can you stay with me until I fall asleep?" Steve kissed his son's forehead.

"Of course little love." Soon both Steve and Peter fell asleep after telling layers and layers of stories of Steve's youth.
