Audrey's POV

"Whatcha looking at Audi." Moe asks as she peers over the seat in front of me.

"The line up." I say as I check over the line up.

"Why?"

"Are we sure it's a good idea for me to play with Megan today?" I question.

Today's October 10 and today one of our Fan Appreciation tour games and we're playing Switzerland at Levi's Stadium.

Today's also Megan's last game with the national team since she's retiring from professional football. Megan is the first of the five ladies retiring to have their retirement game. Ash Ali's retirement game will take place in November in Orlando, Becky's retirement game will take place in St.Louis , and Carli's retirement game will be at Red Bull Arena. All 3 games are happening after the NWSL playoffs which start next week.

"Why would it be a bad idea?" Sonnett asks as we pull up to the stadium.

"Never mind." I mumble then I get out of my seat and head to the locker room

When I get to the locker room I head to my locker then take off my necklaces, earrings, and nose ring before I start to change I then change into my warm up shirt, game shorts, my socks and my rainbow and white boots.

After I'm dressed I head out to the pitch with the rest of the team. When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the starters for a while then head back to the locker room.

Once in the locker room I change out of the training top and change into our White jersey. After I'm dressed I wait around in my locker as the coaching staff do their last minute talks then the starters and I head to the tunnel and I line up behind Tierna.

A minute later we walk out onto the pitch.

Once on the pitch we stand for the introductions and when I'm introduced people start booing.

"What the hell?" Christen says from next to me as they introduce her.

Once the introductions are over we shake hands with the Swiss and the refs then we chill by the sideline as Megan does the captain stuff.

"Why were you boo'd?" Alex asks.

"Some dumbass reporter released footage of Megan and I's argument after the Semi final match against Sweden." I say and bitterly chuckle. "And apparently everyone thinks I'm the bad guy."

"Oh for fuck's sake." Christen says.

"Who cares." I say. "Let's just get this fucking game over with."

"Do you need a sub?" Tobin asks as I lay on the ground after being fouled by Crnogorčević.

"Not yet." I say as Tobin helps me off the ground. "Just get me the ball and move everyone out of the way."

Tobin nods then she stands over the ball as I move towards the sideline. Once the whistle blows Tobin passes me the ball then I sprint towards the Swiss goal. Lehmann is the first person to get to me, but I easily meg her then keep going. Lia Wälti approaches me next so I do a couple step overs then blitz past her towards goal.

I then have a free lane to shoot so I blast the ball into the back of the net putting us 3-0 up in the 55th minute with all three goals coming from me.
