Audrey's POV

"Good luck Kiss?" Daan asks as we wait around in our locker room in Paris.

"Why of course dear girlfriend." I say then lean down and peck my girlfriends lips

After our date a couple weeks ago Daan and I went on four more dates that week before I worked up the balls to ask her to be my girlfriend and now Daniëlle van de Donk is my girlfriend and has been for almost a month.

"Enough cute shit." Kim says. "Move to the tunnel."

I nod then the starters and I head to the tunnel and I line up behind Viv. A minute later we walk out onto the pitch, stand for a bit, shake hands with the PSG players, then I head to my position moments before PSG kick off the game.

The first 20 or so minutes of the game go pretty quickly with both teams trying to find space behind the defense.

In the 23rd minute Alana Cook tries to play a long ball over the top to Jordyn Huitema, but it gets cut out by Kim. The Scot then passes to my girlfriend while I look for space behind the PSG back line. When I do see some space I start moving towards it while looking back at Daan. Daan see's my run so she launches the ball ahead of me so I take off into the free space.

When I get to the edge of the 18 yard box the ball drops in front of me so I blast the ball on the volley past the Chilean keeper putting us up 1-0.

As the team run towards me I kiss the tattoo of my Mom's name on my wrist then I hug my girlfriend when she gets to me.

"That's that love connection." Katie teases as she joins the hug

"Hush you." I say then I look at my girlfriend. "Thanks for the assist."

"It's a good thing you scored." Daan says. "Otherwise you'd be sleeping in the other bed."

"And I'm out." Katie says and walks away.

"Let's go Audi." Daan says. "We gotta game to win.

"Good game Audrey." Alana says.

We won 2-0 as well as 4-2 on aggregate so we advance to the next round.

"You too Lana." I say as we hug. "I guess I'll see you in June for the friendlies?"

"Hopefully."

"You'll make it." I say.

"We'll see." Alana says.

The two of us split up then I head to the locker room and wait for everyone to shower.

Once everyone is out of the shower I grab my shower stuff then head to the shower.

After my shower I dry off, put my necklaces on then put my earrings and nose ring in before I put my clothes on. Once I'm dressed I pack my bag until my phone rings then I pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sweetie."

"Hi Mom." I say as I grab my bag.

"You got a moment?" My Mom questions.

"Yeah." I say then I start heading to the bus. "What's up?"

"So the new Judge set the trial date for the jury review." Mom says.

"When is it?" I question.

"April 7."

"Well I won't be able to go." I say as I get on the bus.

"Why?" Mom asks.

"I'm not going to the April Friendlies."

"Why?" Mom questions as I sit down in my normal seat.

"We have the semi finals of the Champions League the day of the first friendly then we have the semi finals of the FA Cup the day of the second friendly so Vlatko and I talked at SheBelieves and decided I would stay here since the games are only against Mexico." I say.

"So what do you wanna do?" Mom asks.

"I can always Skype into the trial or I can write a statement and have you read it."

"I'll talk to our lawyers and see what they wanna do." Mom says.

"Okay."

"Good game by the way."

"Wish I could've got another goal." I admit as people start getting on the bus.

"I know." Mom says. "Well I gotta go with Kelley to get her car from the repair shop so I'll call you later."

"Okay." I say as Daan sits next to me. "Love you."

"Love you too." Mom says then we hang up.

"Who was that?" Leah asks as she sits down across from me and Daan.

"My Mom."

"Everything okay?" Daan asks as the bus leaves the stadium.

"Yeah." I say. "The new judge set a date for the trial so my Mom was just telling me about it."

"New Judge?" Jordan asks.

"The judge who was going to be presiding over the trial about the jury member knew my Mom's Ex so we demanded a new judge." I say.

"Oh."

"Hey Audrey?" Jessie says form across the aisle.

"Yes?"

"I was talking to some of my UCLA friends a couple days ago and the jersey rumor came up...was that true?"

"Jersey rumor?" Jordan asks.

"That rumor's true Jess." I say.

"What happened?" Jessie asks.

"Some walk-on my junior year decided she wanted to wear my shirt so she took it from my locker before warm ups and put it in her locker. After warm ups I was missing my jersey and I saw the walk-on putting it on so I snatched it from her. I then told her if she took my number again then she'd be her ass kicked."

"Wow." Jill says. "Would you have fought me if I kept number 14?"

"No." I say. "You had it before me so it was yours...Thank you for giving me the number 14."

"No problem." Jill says.

"What happened to the walk-on?" Jessie asks.

"She got a full ride scholarship to play at OU so she left in January of my junior year."

"Ah."

"So where are you two going on your date?" Leah asks.

We have the day off in Paris tomorrow so.

"We're going to Disneyland." Daan says.

"That sounds fun." Lisa says.

"I've never been so I hope so." I say.

"Really?" Katie asks.

"We never had time when I was younger." I say. "On Mom's off day with the national team we would have Mommy-Daughter date days, but we never found time to go to Disneyland or Disney World."

"Five bucks says Daan buys you Mickey Mouse ears and makes you wear them the whole day." Leah says.

"You know it." Daan says with a smirk.

"If it makes her happy." I say as I look at my girlfriend. "I'll do anything."
