Audrey's POV
"We'll see you in a few Minutes." Daan says as she and the kids walk with me and Snowball through the stadium.
"Alrighty." I say then I kiss my wife. "Bye my love."
"Bye Mama." Paris says and hugs me.
"Bye Bubba." I say then I kiss his head.
"Bye Mama." London says.
"Bye Babygirl." I say then I kiss her head.
The twins hug Snowball then my husky and I head to the locker room.
When I get to the locker room I head to my locker then take off my necklaces, earrings, and nose ring before I start to change. I then change into my warm up shirt, game shorts, my socks and my rainbow and white boots.
After I'm dressed I head out to the pitch with the rest of the team. When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the starters for a while then head back to the locker room.
Once in the locker room I head to my locker, change out of the training top, then change into my white jersey. After I'm dressed I wait around while the coaching staff do their last minute talks. When the talks end, the starters and I head to the tunnel and I line up at the front since I'm the captain.
When the ref tells us too we head onto the field then stand in line for the anthems. After the anthems the PA Person starts talking about me so Snowball and I walk away from the line as the PA person lists my stats.
Before today's game I have 199 goals in 213 caps for the national team.
After my leg injury after the 2023 World Cup I never got injured again and once I came back I never missed a game.
As the PA person is talking My Mom, Mama, my siblings, my wife, and my kids come stand with my husky and I. Once my family is with me, a lot of pictures get taken then I hug my family before I head back to the line.
Once I'm back in line we shake hands with the Portuguese then we shake hands with the refs.
After we finish shaking hands we take our starting XI line up photo.
"Sit Snowball." I say to my dog, who's wearing my jersey.
Snowball does as told and sits down next to one of the midfielders while I stand behind him for the picture.
Once the picture is taken, Snowball and I head to the team huddle.
After the team huddle I lead Snowball to the bench.
"Alright Snowball." I say as we get to the end of the bench. "You stay here okay?"
Snowball barks at me so I pet him one more time then I head onto the pitch.
Once on the pitch I head to the center circle while I look in the stands for my wife.
As I'm looking for my family I see all of my Aunt's and there families sitting in the friends and family section which makes me smile.
"GO RUGRAT." Christen yells making me smile as I continue looking for my immediate family.
When I find Daan I smile at her then I blow her a kiss.
"I love you." I mouth.
"I love you Audi." Daan mouths.
"HI MAMA." The twins shout making me chuckle.
I smile and wave at my kids then I find my Mom and smile at her.
Mom smiles at me and winks then I take a deep breath.
"One more." I mumble. "One more."

"AUDREY." Our coach shouts causing me to look at her.
Once I'm looking at my coach she motions to me and asks if I need a sub and I shake my head no.
Our coach nods then she sits down on the bench so I focus back on the game.
In the 75th minute of the game we win a corner so I walk around the box until Tierna crosses the ball in. When Tierna takes the corner she floats the ball right to one of our midfielders who heads the ball, but it hits the bar. The ball ricochets out to me so I volley it past the Portuguese keeper and into the net making it 3-0.
"HOLY SHIT." Mal yells as I kiss the tattoo of my Mom's name. "THAT'S GOAL 200."
"THAT'S MY MUNCHKIN." Ash yells.
All 23 of my World Cup teammates run to me and hug me as the crowd cheers.
Once I've hugged everyone I grab the ball from the goal then I walk up field.
When I get to our side of the field the ref point to the sideline so I turn and walk off because I know the subs for me.
As I'm walking off the field the crowd gives me a standing ovation so I applaud them as I get to the bench then I head to the end of the bench and sit down.
Once I'm sat down I breathe for what feels like the first time all game then I watch the rest of the match.
After the match ends with us winning 4-0, I shake hands with everyone then I head to the center circle and sit down with Snowball.
"Well Snowball." I say as I pet my husky. "This is it...I'm retired."
Snowball yips at me then he licks my face.
"MAMA." I hear my favorite little voice's shout which makes me smile.
I look beyond Snowball and see my kids running ahead of all my friends and family that came today.
When my kids get to me they crash into me and send all of us down to the ground.
"Oof." I say.
"Hi Mama." Paris says.
"Hi Bubba." I say then I kiss my kids' on their heads.
"Can we play with Snowball?" London asks.
"Sure." I say. "Just be gentle with her."
"YAY." The 7 year old twins shout then they run off to play with my husky.
"Hi Audi." My wife says as my friends and Family sit down on the ground with me.
"Hi." I say then I kiss my wife.
"Hello Mrs. Record holder." Christen says as Mom hugs me.
"I can't believe you scored 200 goals." Mom says then she kisses my head. "I'm so proud of you."
"Thanks Mom." I say.
I cuddle with my Mom as I look around at my friends and family while they talk amongst themselves for awhile.
"You okay Audrey?" Daan asks as everyone looks at me. "You kinda spaced out there."
"Just thinking about what a life I've had." I say as I look at everyone who's here with me.
"MAMA WE NEED CUDDLES." London yells then she and Paris run to me and sit down in my lap.
"Love you Mama." Paris and London say as they look at me.
"I love you guys two." I say with a smile.
"So Rugrat." Christen says as she holds her son. "You ready for retirement."
I nod then I lean into my Mom.
"Yeah." I say as I smile down at my family. "I've got my kids, my wife, my Mom's, my siblings, and all my Aunts...and that's all I need."
