It was only six in the morning but Detective Lee and Officer Chad are already in the car, heading on their way to meet one of the victim's family to gather some information they could use as lead to catch the culprit. They stopped in front of a kimchi restaurant.

Cameron furrowed his brows for a moment. Based on the main food it serves and the owner's name, it surely is korean restaurant. He didn't know there was some korean restaurant around that place. They stepped out of the car and walked inside. They were greeted by a kind looking woman, maybe about thirty to thirty-five years old. She offered them a seat and some coffee.

"We're you expecting us, ma'am?" Devius Chad asked in confusion because everything is already prepared like she knew they'd come.

The kind lady smiled and said, "I am always expecting people, officer. Ever since my sister died, I often have the authorities as my visitors." She answered with her korean accent.

"Mrs. Kim, we are here to ask some questions about your sister, Ms. Gina Kang," Detective Cameron Lee started. "Did she received any calls before she was...killed?" He asked, hesitant to say the last word.

The lady stayed silent for a second before saying, "Yes, she told me once that someone called her and told her that she will die at the same day she was killed." Cameron Lee and Devius Chad looked at each other.

Officer Chad spoke too. "Did you notice anything suspicious around your sister, like someone who seemed to be watching her?"

Mrs. Kim shook her head. "Well, I remember one time that I saw a man in a black hoodie in front of the restaurant but I never get to see his face because when he noticed that I am looking, he would eventually leave." She stated.

"A man in a black hoodie?" Officer Chad repeated.

Mrs. Kang nodded again. "Yes, it's a long hoodie or maybe a coat? I can't clearly remember." She answered, a little uncertain.

Both men looked at each other as if they have the same thought. "That's all we need to know, thank you, ma'am." Devius said politely with a smile.

After talking to the lady and gathering some information, they said their goodbyes and left. They went to the next victim's family and asked the same question. They also got the same answer — that every victim received the call before they were killed by the culprit. One member of the family would also notice a man wearing a black hoodie or a black coat nearby but unfortunately, no one saw his face.

"How is that even possible?" Cameron sighed as he leaned on the car seat and started massaging his forehead.

"Senior, I'm hungry, let's find a place to eat and then we can talk." Devius suggested to which Cameron gladly agreed because he was also feeling hungry already.

Cameron drove and searched for a place they could go. They stopped to eat lunch at some cafeteria they saw on their way. But even if they already got their orders and was sitting face to face, their minds are out in the space. They've got some clue but still clueless. It's as if they found something but found nothing.

"What do you think, Detective Lee?" Officer Devius Chad asked as he gulp on his coffee.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, what do you think is the culprit's motive to kill those victims and why would he call them before killing them? Is there a possibility that this man who is calling the victims was the killer?" He clarified.

"The main question is, why would he call them before killing them if he could just kill them?" Cameron said.

Devius sighed. "They said all killers has their reasons for their crime. Do you have any idea of what could be his reason?"
