While driving, Cameron can't stop giving Officer Chad some little glances. His partner was looking out the window but he could sense that something is bothering him.

"Hey, Chad, are you alright?" He asked.

Devius turned to look at him with a force smile. "I'm fine." He simply answered.

Detective Lee sighed. "I know something's bothering you because if not, you would be all noisy again."

"Seems like you've been observing me lately, Cai." The officer giggled but you can sense that it wasn't his usually playful giggle.

"Tell me, what's bothering you?" Cameron asked.

"I'm just thinking about Michael and his mother. I promised the kid that I'll find his mom as soon as possible but we still have no clue about her whereabouts. I just can't help but feel bad." He said in an honest, sad tone.

Cameron squeezed his partner's shoulder while his other hand was holding the steering wheel. "We'll find him, don't worry. For now, just take some rest just like what Chief Simon said. You're still not fully recovered." He advised.

Devius nodded in response. "Yes, sir." He saluted like a child which made Cameron smile unconsciously.

Upon arriving to their apartment, Detective Lee went straight to the bathroom and washed himself up. While looking at his reflection on the mirror, he kept thinking of a way to find out more about who Red is. He has very little clue about the culprit but at least now, he has something, unlike before. He tried remembering what exactly happened the moment before he passed out, he was trying his best to recall something but he still haven't got anything. He dried himself up and went out but he frowned upon seeing Officer Chad gulping in some canned beer.

"Hey! You just got out of the hospital, you shouldn't be drinking." He walked towards Officer Chad and snatched the beer out of his hand.

"Come on, Cai, alcohol heals the wound, you know?" His junior reasoned out and took back his drink.

But Cameron won't let him win, he grabbed the bottle away again. "Devius Chad, listen to me and stop being stubborn. Go wash your face so you could rest." He said in an authoritative voice.

Officer Chad just pouted and followed. "Okay, sir."

Detective Lee followed him with his eyes and shook his head. He sat down and stared at the can of beer in his hand. He's not a drinker but sometimes, he just knew that he have to freshen up. He gulped on the liquor and leaned on the chair. It's only one in the afternoon but the sky seemed to be really gloomy. After some time, the rain started pouring.

His apartment's window was open so the cold wind is getting inside the room. Looking at the rain pouring hardly with a beer in his hand, it somehow gave him the feeling of easiness. There's no thunder nor lightning, just the rain pouring down from the sky to the concrete buildings and ground. The wind from outside is playing with his air as he sat near the window.

"Woah! It's just so hot earlier and now it's raining?" Devius sat down next to Cameron as he dried his hair with a towel.

"Sometimes the weather is unpredictable... just like life." Detective Lee mumbled and took a sip from the bottle.

"You know what, Cai? One of my teacher before in primary school told me that if it was really sunny and then it suddenly rains, someone is getting married." Officer Chad narrated while watching the drops of the rain outside.

Detective Lee turned to his partner, looking confused. "Who?"

"A goblin or something that is called tikbalang." Officer Chad answered with a laugh, Cameron just glared at him and shook his head.
