'P-please.'
I'm completely exhausted as they roam around in and on my body.
Clay holds me to him as tears slip from my eyes.

They stopped the shocks, but this isn't any better.
'Please......'

Clay gently rubs my neck as he keeps whispering sweet things to me trying to make me feel better. I don't want to be in this much pain anymore.

By a drastic movement for one of the doctors, sharp pain shoots up my spine.
I grab onto Clay in shock, to tired to make a sound at the pain.

'Is it still going to take long?'
Clay turns around as he asks the question.
'We don't know sir.'

I whimper at the answer.
Please just get me out of here.
'Can't you give her something? Anything?'

'Ah-'
I grip clays arm painfully as more pain runs up my spine and down my legs.

'Please.'
Clay begs them.

And then finally, they put me under.

I wake up in a room, Clay already looking at me.
I reach my hand to him, and he takes it.

My body is soar, and I don't want to move.

'Amelia, we have to make a decision.'
Clay seems upset, and his eyes lower after the words left.
'What... do you mean?'

He sighs and holds my hand a bit tighter.
'They said you'll have a painful pregnancy.'
I look at him, processing his words slowly.
'It's not to late for abortion if-'

'No.'

He meets my eyes, his teary.
'Painful pregnancy or not, I said I wanted this, so I'll do it.'

Clay sighs
'Amelia, this isn't like before. The baby barely made it. But somethings wrong and they said that it'll be painful.'

I look at him.
'Then so be it.'

His expression clears a little,
Somewhere relieved.

'I'll do it if you help me out.'
Clay nods immediately.
'I'll take care of both of you, I promise.'
I smile softly and snuggle into the uncomfortable blankets.

'The baby's okay?'
Clay nods and smiles.
'Though little one, like his mom.'
I giggle 'or stubborn like you.'

'Or that.'
I watch as Clay looks peaceful for the first time in hours.
This isn't over yet, but the decision is final.

I will fight for this.
