Carla

I looked at the ocean in front of me, blank.

A date.

He took me out on a date.

After all the things he did to me, I wasn't expecting him to take me out on a date. He just didn't seem like someone who romanticized over women or relationships in general. I thought he only knew how to romanticize over blood, torture, and drugs.

His arms wrapped around my waist and protectively held me in place. I arched my neck to the side when he nibbled on my earlobe.

"Come," he whispered, softly as he pulled away but still kept one of his hands on the small of my back as he guided me up to a table, set up in the center of the yacht on the top. The design around me was elegant. Sophisticated.

As we walked closer, he removed his hand and walked ahead and pulled the chair out for me, and gestured me to sit. Still confused as to why he was being so nice, I sat down hesitatingly, not before throwing a glance his way. He pushed the chair, so I could reach the table, before walking around and reaching in front of me, and settling down himself.

The yacht was on the move but you could barely tell it.

A waiter came to us immediately and handed us the menu.

"Would you like to have something to drink?" The man asked politely with a smile. As I looked through the menu, hesitantly.

"Yes, I would like a red wine," Aeden said as he looked at me.

"And for the lady?" He asked, turning towards me.

"Umm... I'm fine. Thank you," I said with a polite smile but Aeden didn't like it.

"She'll have the red wine as well," he said and the waiter just nodded and walked away.

"Why did you do that?" I asked him and he just glanced at me before shifting his eyes back at the menu. I sighed. There was no point arguing with him. I looked through the menu, I was astounded looking at the wide variety of dishes.

A few minutes later, the waiter came back with two glasses and a bottle of wine. Placing the glasses on the table, he opened the cork of the bottle and filled up the glass halfway. And moved back.

"Your orders?"

"I'll have the steak," I said and closed the menu, handing it to him.

"I'll have the shrimp with the side salad," Aeden said and the waiter nodded to both of us respectively and took our menus, leaving us alone.

I took the glass and sipped on the wine, looking around. The boat was lit up with lights, brightening the dark ocean around us. It was also decorated with beautiful red roses, here and there, adding to its already aesthetically pleasing vibes. It didn't seem like there was a lot much staff here. It was a bit chilly and romantic.
