"At least I'm not chained." Eden muttered as she got to her feet, brushing the snow off of her Doctor Who t-shirt. Her red converse sneakers were covered in at least two inches of snow, her feet numb from the cold.
She heard the sound of cranking and as she squinted through the falling snowflakes, she saw a metal gate slowly open.
Eden took a few steps forward, "Hello?" A terrifying roar answered her and a black blur came charging straight at her.
"Shit!" Eden swore. The crowd whooped as Eden frantically scanned the snow covered arena, searching desperately for a weapon to defend herself. Abraxas had told her that weapons were hidden in the snow…
Eden dug through the snow until something furry knocked into her. Eden fell backwards with a solid thud.
A pair of blue eyes glared down at her.
It was a hellhound. A big black one….
“Horse feathers…..”
